Participatory monitoring of agricultural research and extension projects and programmes, action learning research approaches, farmer field schools, institutional reform, gendered technology development.  Application in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Practical skills
Organic and low external input cropping, livestock and integrated farming, agroforestry, animal draught technology development, learning workshop facilitation skills and writing.   Application in Northern and Southern countries.

Low external input farming and livelihood systems research and development . Agronomy, soil fertility management, agroforestry, technology development, livestock, including animal draught.
